I play a few instruments, mostly guitar at this point; most recently I played with a ranchero funk outfit in a small town in Mexico (!). I also got into music production for a while, producing a few recordings for friends in a home studio; I even worked at a “real” studio for a while, which was interesting. Either as a motive or as a result, I enjoy good production almost as much as good songwriting.

As far as listening, I get into a lot of different music, but I also like to obsess on a single album for years, listening to it over and over. Here’s a few of them:
